This week has been fun filled and yet again there are many things to be proud of -Years 3&4 were praised by the public for their excellent behaviour on their trip to the bridge, year one were fabulous at the pool-many of them putting their heads under and faces in! And finally a big well done to our associate directors in year six, who will be working hard to help us improve the school. They are going to be speaking to all the children to get their views on learning, and how our children feel they are getting on at school. They had their first board meeting today, it all looked very serious!
I have set up a homework email address for those of you who like to work online and email it in. Perhaps you don’t have a printer or a USB storage device-this will help. Mail your homework to this address and tell us who your child is and we will make sure it gets to their teacher. The address is:
*It’s creativity week at Greenfield- expect your children to be telling you about the artwork they will be completing!
*Year six will be selling lollies in the playground next week, 25p each so being your pocket money! All proceeds are going towards the Prom.
*Class photos on Monday so full uniform and super smart hair dos at the ready!
*Malago music extravanga on Wednesday. We are very excited about this and are taking our 40 strong pupil choir and some staff singers too.
I’ll leave you now with a photo of Jamie- Leigh in year one who was the first child to get to gold today, she was beaming with pride and rightly so! Also some pictures of our amazing year one children who are writing their own reports for parents’ evening-how grown up!
Have a lovely weekend
